Student Applications Now Being Accepted

Dear Frank Baxter

Following a hugely successful 1st Festival last August, we are pleased to announce the 2nd - 2014 Dublin International Piano Festival (DIPF) & Summer Academy and to inform you that we are NOW accepting Student applications!

Joining our faculty this year, we are delighted to welcome Portuguese pianist Artur Pizarro and John O’ Conor our Honorary Patron. We are also delighted to welcome back Edmund Battersby and Evelyne Brancart (Indiana University), Lance Coburn (Australian, residing in Ireland) and of course Artistic Director Archie Chen.

A unique Festival packed with lessons, Master classes, Seminars, student and faculty concerts, scheduled practise sessions, stretching classes... as well as relaxing excursions exploring the beautiful Irish landscape & culture! We promise healthy and wholesome energy meals and comfortable guest house accommodation for the duration of your stay.

Don’t take our word for it! Read the review in International Piano Magazine http://www.pianofestival.ie/press_reviews.html

Our programme is tailored to those wishing to excel in piano performance, technique and explore the possibilities of a career as a professional concert pianist, with a desire to visit the beautiful Dublin Fair city.

Limited to only 16 Students, we would greatly appreciate if you could circulate this letter to all advanced students of piano.

Best wishes,

Rhona Gouldson | Festival Director
