In April of 2005, I made a 20 minute movie of our "family" when the Coffee Room was closed. Mark is still hosting it on his website (thank you again, Mark!) and it was suggested that those of you who haven't seen it would perhaps enjoy it and those who have would like to see it again.

There are many familiar names/faces, and some we haven't seen in a while. I hope you'll take a look and enjoy!

That's a great movie. Thanks for sharing it with us again.

Sorry to say, but the Coffee Room is one of those times in my "internet life" that will always rank as "the good old days".

Hi Derick. Thanks. I sure have missed you since then.

Hope you're enjoying that fabulous Bosie! I'll bet it's developing an amazing sound with each month that passes by.

Plays, a round of applause to you and all the others who were involved in this project. I enjoyed my first viewing last night; brought back a whole flood of memories.

Thanks for posting. wink

Hi Plays,

I miss you too. Maybe one of these days I'll get back to the NCR or the WTF - although I really should limit my internet time... I've got to hit the Temptation Blocker button.

Hi Plays,

Great job!
You put a lot of work into making this, much appreciated.

We really did have a nice group of people.

I wish I could have found a way to keep the CR open, but it just got too far out of hand.

I've saved a copy of the movie locally, in case Mark gets tired of hosting it :-)

Best,

Frank B.

P.S.
I still have the entire CR, safely tucked away.

"Mr. (Madame plays88) DeMille, I'm ready for my close-up!" cool

I'm sorry I arrived too late on the scene to be immortalized in celluloid (or whatever).

Congratulations on such a nice memento.

The OCR lives on..three versions actually - Fat Shirley's, TNCR and WTF. All are a bit different in their outlook and mechanisms.

An interesting piece of trivia...TNCR bypassed the OCR in total number of posts awhile back. It's well over 200,000 posts, making it the most popular of the offspring.

Just today we were talking about wisdom teeth post-op care, the Catholic position on the Common Good, sunspots, shoe fetishes and Ori.

We are an eclectic bunch.

Y'all drop by and set a spell, y'hear? smile

TNCR. Over 20 years. Over 2,000,000 posts. And a new site...

https://nodebb.the-new-coffee-room.club

Where pianists and others talk about everything. And nothing.
