Can anyone recommend a few good piano mags? I have heard of Clavier, yet can't seem to locate it or its address. Any others from which a novice might benefit?

If it went under, perhaps they should call it "Piano & Overboard!" laugh

Actually, I emailed Piano and Keyboard a few months ago, and they indicated that Sparrowhawk, the publisher, was going to be acquired by another firm, and publication would resume then. I guess we'll have to wait.

Piano & Keyboard has my money, that I sent in a year ago, but I don't have any magazines. Tried many times to call them, but I just got an answering machine. Left many messages, received no replys. So if anyone plans on subscribing, make sure that they're still in business.

Mike Pappadakis:

Are all these listed piano type mags available in Australia?

If not, how do i go about subscribing for them?

Hi! Jemima,

Piano Magazine, International Piano Quarterly, Keyboard Companion and Keyboard Magazine are available worldwide. You should be able to subscribe to them through their website. Just clink on the links in my post for their respective webpage.

Piano Today and Sheet Music Magazine are only available in U.S. and Canada. Euro-Piano may be published worldwide, but their website is in German, and unfortunately I haven't spoken German since my college days. I don't know about the rest of them.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
Mike
