Anybody!!

We just started the piano trio in Houston (TX) and are looking for some gigs. Also I am trying to find some work for the piano solo as well. It seems that not much can be done without having a music agent. HOW DO I LOOK FOR THE AGENT?? WHERE TO FIND HIM??

Thanks!
Marina.

If you figure out where they're all hiding let me know as I have been trying to find one for the last year, sending out queries and packages to names I've found over the internet to no avail. I have been working as our own manager/agent for the last 3 years, but it is very time consuming.

That's what we have been doing for the last year, too. Maybe we need to organize a self-agent society...
But seriously I have heard about the same problem from the professional singers/actresses as well. They could find some agents, but not managers who usually are much more beneficial.
Anyway if you will find a good (even not so good) agent/agency, please let me know.

Sorry, can't offer advice re agent, but I would be interested to know what your trio repertoire is.
