I absolutely love Christmas and Christmas music. Though I like Christmas carols I really love other arrangements as well, things more suited for solo piano. So maybe it is a little early but I'm already playing Christmas music and I would love to get some more books in my collection. I'm off to the big city tomorrow for my piano lesson and I'm planning to go to my favorite music store, so I am looking for some of your favorite books ....

My books that I have so far...
Readers Digest Merry Christmas Songbook.
Great book for singing carols and other Christmas songs.

A Christmas Fantasy by Dennis Alexander
Mozart meets Santa arranged by David Pearl
Christmas Jazz Arranged by Frank mantooth

I really like Tom Roed's Christmas book. It's been reissued and has some more modern songs and a couple of pieces by Solo Piano artists.

Oh, yea....Their "Silent Night" is the absolute best "new" version, the high notes can bring a tear....

On a side note, and to gloat, we have tickets to their Christmas concert here in town Dec. 4th. If they come to your town, it's a "don't miss" event as far a I'm concerned. The light show alone is fantastic.

"There is nothing remarkable about it. All one has to do is hit the right keys at the right time and the instrument plays itself." Johann Sebastian Bach/Gyro
