Hello all

I've just bought an ipad air, are there are any good app's that members know of, that would be helpful for a beginner three months into his journey? I know my teacher can get sheet music on his; he gave me the name of it but I have forgotten it.

Cheers

Phil

Hi Phil,
I like the PianoNotesPro app for practicing reading music. I have Forscore also and it's very good for sheet music. There are third party pedals available which you can use to turn pages on the fly such as "http://airturn.com". Best of luck

This one works with the huge library of free scores on imslp.org
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/iclassicalscores/id495843728

If you want a page turn pedal, try one with a USB cord, they are a fraction of the price of Airturn (wireless) and they are fine unless you need your ipad and your feet to be more than 6ft apart smile

Did you know that recording music by iPad is very good. Recorded many pianoplaying and churchorgan.....when I play the recordings on my Denon-set....it sounds perfect.....

For example this recording.....

Georg Böhm: Partitas

Just simple on iPad2......

Best regards,
Johan B
