Just recorded this on my Schimmel to test out high-gain mode on my Zoom Q3 with the mute pedal off. There's still a tiny bit of distortion. This thing is so hard to use with a piano..

Beautiful playing-great voicing, legato, and melodic quality. Well done. You are musically sensitive and very accomplished technically.

Perhaps it is a matter of taste, but I think you could possibly have a bit more ebb and flow here, a bit more phrase direction, and a bit more space between the phrases. As beautiful as your rendition was, it had a bit of a static feel to it. If that's what you're going for, you did it well. To me it sounds a bit more like a lullaby than a romanze.

Seriously though, great job. I'm really looking forward to hearing your Fantasie!
