Happy Birthday EssBrace!!

Would you please compare the keys on your cake with PHA4, PHA3, GFII, RH3, RH2, RM3, AHAIV-F, GH, GH3, GHW3, T100, and Korg mini-keys. Please share with us about which action is more smooth feeling, quicker action, heavier, noisier, realistic, comfortable feeling, cosmetic feeling, sluggish, which has the hard bottoming out like PHA3, and other brands more comparable DP key actions. Thanks...!

Happy Birthday EssBrace.

The keys on the cake looks squishy/spongy.
Do they make a lot of noise when you chomp on them? smile

What kind of semi-tonal instrument did you make there? Seven black keys in a row!?!? Eneatonality? smile

Happy Birthday EssBrace,

Marko, are those white keys real white chocolate, or have you used substitute cheddar cheese?? I think the action is going to be a bit creamy with a hint of liquorice!

Hang on there chaps! I'm in mourning....for the passing of my youth. Each year is another nail in the coffin. How depressing.

Anyway, in the face of approaching infirmity and, let's be honest, death, I've decided to cheer myself up by extending the friend of handship to Arm De Fernas. I offer myself as point of liaison between the PW community and the relative speed and weight of every piano action known to man. I have devised a range of highly unscientific tests which will form the basis of many pointless conclusions.

And whilst the testing is yet to commence I can tell you all, with absolute certainty, that the Kawai plastic action is the best.

Many thanks for your birthday greetings!

Steve

Have a good one I know how it feels, every morning it is a little harder to get out of bed. It would be a shame to eat that cake. Looks way too cool laugh

Are you tried the premium concert action on the the touch screen of the ipad ? it blows all the others away IMO. kawai, roland etc,

@Steve,

I keep trying to tell you that someone who is more than a decade behind myself in regards to age (i.e., who is only in their 40's) is still a young man by all due respect.

I am now in my later 50's (not old yet) and continue to mow my own yard and trim the bushes (yes, old-fashioned manual labor) and it doesn't slow me down a bit.

In fact, you will do better to get off of your lazy *** and stay physically active and put the word "old" behind you.

My dad mowed his yard well into his 70's and I plan on doing the same.

Keep your chin up, mate -- and, get moving!

@Steve,

I also do my own shoveling at my place as there is a friend's car that I single-handedly dig out from the curb on the street every time there is deep snow to remove. It's hard work and it can be done regardless of age.
