Have anyone tried or heard Ketron MB 10 speakers with Digital Piano? Not heard much about it as far as their only model speaker. I don't need tons of power, but clarity is.

It is really hard to make decision without compare side by side, but not much I can do when there are no floor model available from stores.

I think I found my possible PA speakers for DP gig. It is from Ketron, a company known for arrangers. Here is their Web and I see they are using Ketron MB 10 with all their product demo. I thought sounded very clear.

This one is only review about the speaker I found so far:

I am going to order pair of 2 tops and if I need more bass, I will get pair of 2 subs. It would be more than what I want to spend, but as long as I get that clear DP sound then I’ll be happy.

I’ll write reviews in couple of months. Thanks for sharing your experience and thoughts.

Whooer.. Hold on a second. You thought what sounded clear?? If you haven't heard them in person, then you haven't heard them at all. Right??

It's very hard to say much from listening to a file with highly compressed audio, but many DPs fall down on thick chords (like the D7+9 at the 52 second mark in this video). Actually, I'm unsure what the chord is because it is so muddy. Is that a result of the DP or the PA? Most likely the former, but I'd want to be sure before plunking down any serious spons for this rig.

Good luck, parentteacher, but I don't think it is possible to audition anything this subjective over the web.

Since you are from UK, you might have better chance to see them on the floor than here in U.S. I'll put my review in 2-3 months. It seems to have quality parts and made for the DP in mind. I didn't get to audition tons of PAs, but many sounded too brittle on uppper range.
