I dropped by the local Public Library today in search of interesting CDs and discovered César Franck's "Complete Masterworks for Organ", with Michael Murray at the organ. It's a shame that the CD did not contain the booklet (I guess I can't expect much from a borrowed CD eh?) but I am enjoying this CD. Murray played the Cavaillé-Coll organ at Saint Sernin Basilica in Toulouse. Hmmmmm. Having a look at Amazon.com, it seemed the reviewers booed this particular recording. Maybe I don't know any better, but does anyone have any suggestions for "better" recordings of Franck's works?
