Schiller Pianos??????? - 11/21/12 12:35 PM

Just came across this ad on Craigslist. Never heard of this particular brand.

http://phoenix.craigslist.org/cph/msg/3424437973.html

Here's a link to the company's website

www.schillerpianocompany.com

Appears to be built in "Asia" using German components.

Any insights would be appreciated.

Whenever I am confronted by an Asian piano of unknown origin, I evaluate it as I would any piano of a brand that I am not familiar with. I play it, assess the touch and sound, inspect how well it is put together and its current state, and extrapolate according to my experience. That is about all one can do.

Unless I am mistaken I believe this is Jim Laabs' house brand - probably made by Parsons.
