Actually, my late grandfather on my mother’s side was a notorious moonshiner in these parts. Problem was, he drank about as much moonshine as he made. My late mother told me many stories of her father’s moonshiner days… she said he used to sell the shine out of their house and when anyone would knock on the door, her little brothers would run and open the door, greet the visitor and politely ask if they wanted a shot or of pint.
My grandfather never played a piano that I am aware of, but he did play the guitar a little, was very handsome and charming to boot. Maybe that is why I’m good looking, talented and good with soldering and brazing copper tubing.
