The US Treasury Dept will be auctioning off an American limited edition art case concert grand piano, custom midnight blue lacquer with mother-of-pearl stars finish, by Steinway & Sons. Preview on Wed. 7/23 from 1-4 at Fortress at Judson Art Warehouse - 49-20 5th St. Log Island City NY. The auction will be held on July 30 in Dayton NJ. I like that model.
I looked at that site. So why is the US Government auctioning off all this stuff? Why do they own a blue piano?
The Feds auction off seized property as a result of tax issues or proceeds from illegal transactions. This would all be merchandise which was confiscated.
Wow.. that's a shiny piano.. Does it come with a welding helmet?
I think it comes with a telescope.
