Lincoln Center Concert w/ Andre Watts - 08/19/02 02:11 AM

On Tuesday August 20, there will a free concert by the Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra. (It will repeat Weds. Also) Louis Langrée is the conductor. André Watts is the soloist. This is the program:

Mozart Overture to La Clemenza di Tito

Mozart Piano Concerto No. 9 in E flat, K. 271

Beethoven Symphony No. 8

There is more at www.lincolncenter.com .

Anyone going to this? I am going to pick up my free tickets tomorrow, it looks like a promising event. I saw Mr. Watts last year in a performance of Beethoven's Emperor Concerto, and I liked it very much!

Crash, I'm OUT THE DOOR!!! I've seen Watts a couple of times and always been thrilled. See ya there.

(this IS in Chicago, isn't it? Still pick up the tickets right there by the Bulls arena?)

I went to this concert on Weds, and wrote a semi-review for it on the pianist's forum.
