I very recently acquired my first smart phone (yes, really) and am dismayed at the way the native music player handles classical music.

I'm going to trial Music Player (Remix) - it got a good rap at LifeHacker.

Can anyone recommend this, or perhaps another player worth trying?

I think winamp is available to android, and free.

VLC for me plays anything and everything.
