I am looking to get as much information as i can on a book i have that was left to me by my father:

There's a possibility that it will have some value, since it is one of the earliest editions of Beethoven and was done during his lifetime. If it was volume no. 27, there is apparently only one known surviving copy of that book. During his lifetime, though, Op. 26 was one of his most popular compositions, so I wouldn't have high hopes. It's likely to be one of the more common volumes. Nonetheless, you can contact a music library to get their opinion.
