HTML won't work in posts

Hi there,

I couldn't find a dedicated 'help' forum, so I am asking this here.

I would like to create a table of data in a post and it doesn't seem to work. I have tried the following example:

<table>
<tr>
<td>content</td>
<td>content</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>content</td>
<td>content</td>
</tr>
</table>

I have also tried using [] instead of <>, and I have tried setting the Markup box to all 3 settings, but still it won't work. I know there is not a fault with the code, so is there a fault with the forum?

I suppose you could call it a fault with the forum. The underlying software on which the forum is built (ubb) doesn't support full html markup in posts. To see what is supported, click on the "Switch to Full Reply Screen" icon, the boxes that are available e.g., "links", "pictures", "list", etc., are what is supported.
