Hello,

I'm new on this forum so I don't know if my post is at the right place.

My Yamaha Clavinova CVP-70 is changing voice while I'm playing. I set it to Piano 1 and while I'm playing, it will switch to drum of other random voices. Obviously, this is really anoying...

Is anybody familiar with this type of problem? Any suggestions as to how to fix this?

Thank you

It is about 14-16 years, and it happen mostly to male Clavinovas .

Acoustical pianos also change voice if it can reassure you..

They do not turn to drum tone but sonetime to something even more noisy.

Mine can play all sorts of different voices, like organ, harpischord, celeste, flute, etc.

Also there's a button called "fantasy."

But when I press it nothing happens.

Can anybody tell me how to fix this?

PS serious answer to the OP. Mine has done this too, but in every single case I have traced it to accidentally bumping one of the buttons with the music, metronome, hand, etc. It is surprising how easy this is to do.
