Hello- just moved my Steinway M (that I love) to RI from Florida. Piano is doing better that I would have thought. Opened phone book to take a look at tuners/techs in phone book - but know better than just picking one. Does anyone have any experience with tuners in the Providence area?

As a Registered Piano Technician in the Piano Technicians Guild, I would suggest looking for an RPT in your area. Use your yellow pages or their website www.ptg.org to find a qualified technician. Another alternative I recommend is checking with piano dealers, teachers, musicians, schools and churches. If the same name keeps coming up, that might be the person to try. Hope this helps.....
