R U looking for a piano to play? - 01/11/13 01:59 PM
I bought a shack next to a church and occasionally people would knock on my door looking for a place to sleep and or food to eat. I couldn't help them but would tell them where food and lodging were available for free.
Then one day a couple of guys asked me if I wanted to rent my garage which is as large as my tiny house and I said that I didn't want to rent my garage, but that the church sat vacant 6 days and 7 night a week and perhaps they would like to rent it to you.
Well, soon I heard the rock garage band making noise next door. I could see them hanging around in the summer heat drinking and smoking outside so I realized God's caretakers had rules about smoking and drinking in God's place. They must have sinned like Eve because soon the band was gone. But soon, too, the church got a message from God, through me, that they would make a lot of money by renting out the church day and night and have done so for 30 years.
They rent it for all sorts of musical events and groups, daycare for peoples of foreign countries and ESL groups of foreign countries. And this story leads me to tell you - and lets me realize when I read postings that people are whining about finding a piano to play in foreign countries and foreign cities, that millions or billions of churches around world may - just may have a organ that is played every sunday and for funerals when called upon, but also there is a huge chance that somewhere in the huge church or tiny church is a dusty upright piano and all you have to do is walk down the streets of the foreign cities or villages and ask if you can make a donation, and churchs are all about donations, whether you are trying to get from helll or trying to get to heaven for a price or a donation, if you will, so you should be able to find a piano in any city on the plant to play on any day except sunday.
