My question is about the meaning of the title of the Jelly Roll Morton song. I could not find any online definition of the noun "crave". Is this just his version of "craving" or is there a noun "crave" that means something else?

Music is all about popularizing your craft. You remembered it, so it worked.
In the genre of those times, that style of music was performed in juke joints, and the activities therof would lend itself to all kinds of "Hootchie Coochie" arrangements..
Rent "Legend of 1900" and watch Jelly and Tim Roth face off in "The Crave".
That is a difficult piece!
