Just got a Zoom H4n, recorded in stereo, really disappointed, may be I have not learned how to use it. no external mics. Somebody please help me on the best setup for this thing. The piano is a Bechstein A228. Still WIP.

I don't much like listening to works in progress, so I didn't but I flashed through this a little and it sounds darn good. Except the background chatter.

I have a similar feeling about others' works in progress; I have no choice with my own. I'm wondering, however, since you're asking for help to get optimum results from your Zoom, why you wouldn't take the time to turn off the damn TV! How can you expect to get a judgment of results if the machine is picking up other extraneous noises in the room?
