Thank you for your response. If anyone has price quotes in the U.S. for the Yamaha Clavinova CVP-505, that would be appreciated as well.

There simply are no "price quotes". In the US, these pianos are sold only at piano dealers. The pianos have a price tag, which is the dealer's "offer". That might be full suggested-retail (ridiculously high) or it might somewhat lower (still too high).

To make this simple, have a look at pianobuyer.com

In the appendix section there is a list of pianos, first the acoustics and then the digitals. In that section, find your piano and look at the retail price. Deduct 35% and make that your offer to the dealer.

Right now, it show the CVP505 at $11,099 MSRP.
The "estimated street price" is $7823.
So offer $7200.

I saw a used 505 at the Yamaha dealers store for around 5.8K (Bellevue, WA state)
