I'm considering purchasing a P250 in the near future. I have a question I hope an owner can answer.

Is there an accesory to fit the p250 with a sheet music holder?

I haven't had any luck locating one online.

The P250 (and P200 and probably CP300) come with a removable music holder.

Thanks for the reply. I was told by a couple of vendors that it wasn't included.

One more question.

Is it hard to record a track (sequence) with P250?

Don't know yet - I've got mine out of the box and ready to set up, but because work is crazy this week, and we're leaving for Puerto Rico this Thursday, I won't be able to touch it until at least next Tuesday......even though I REALLY want to play it.

No more difficult than any other midi keyboard.

I'm not familar with sequencing on any MIDI keyboard. Do you just select a track and a instrument and record?

Or, is it more complicated?

You may want to review the P-250 Owner's Manual. It may answer some of your questions. Please see link below:

lol! I just "chatted" with an associate at Musician's Friend and they told me that the P250 does not come with a music rest.

They quoted me $1999. I still can't find a price less than $1899.

Take a look in the manual that hawk85 pointed to above. There is a music rest setup procedure in the manual.

My P250 came with a music rest. It is way back to back of the instrument though, which may not be ideal.

I just checked the manual again. It specifically states (page 6) that a music rest is included. However, on a P-250, the music rest does not attach to the top of the keyboard, but rather to the "back" of the keyboard via two round holes (see page 16). This may be why the sales associate would think it doesn't come with one.

You can see the mounting holes in photos at http://www.yamahasynth.com and the following link lists the included accessories: http://www.yamahasynth.com/products/p250/specifications.html.

One nice thing about the music rest on the P250 is that if you leave it off, there's enough surface on the top to put a laptop.

I use the laptop screen as my music rest unless I'm working in Finale (which, by the way, I'm not that great at - it's sorta Photoshop level complexity) where I'm using the screen.

So pretty nice, that way.
But yeah, the rest was included and I'm sure you got one with yours (saw your other thread).
