Good afternoon....I recently purchase a CVP 303 and have just started going through the manual to get a feel for some of the options. I saw that you could "lock" the piano voice by holding down the "piano" key...it says that to unlock this feature you should hold down the "piano" key. This doesn't seem to work...maybe I'm doing something wrong. The only way I can seem to deactivate this is to turn the unit off and on again.
Any suggestions?
I just tried it on my CVP-307 and it worked. A confirmation screen was displayed when I locked it...requiring user input to enter lock mode. Then the screen displayed a lock mode screen. Holding down the piano key for a couple seconds resulted in the standard display again.
If you continue to experience problems, you may want to contact your dealer.
Good morning hawk85...just an update. On the CVP303 you cannot deactivate the piano lock by pulling up the window and getting any key to deactivate. What you have to do is pull up that window and hit the "exit" key. That will take you out of the piano lock window and you can select any voices you want.
Unfortunately, this is not explained clearly in the manual.
