Keyboard adapters (help!)

Keyboard adapters (help!) - 08/22/03 08:16 PM

The keyboard I bought didn't come with an adapter (surprise) and I'm not sure what kind to use.

I live in a very very very small town, there's no best buy, circuit city, not even a walmart..no music stores, either.

We won't be going anywhere that has a music store until next week or so, and I was wondering if I could use any other kind of adapter until then?

I'm using batteries for my keyboard right now, and they don't last long..at least not compared to an adapter.

Please let me know..Thanks.

The casio web site didn't directly list your model number, but comparable models use an AD-5. Casio specs on that are:

Technical Specs:

Input: AC120V, 60Hz, 16W

Output: DC9V, 800mA

This is the link to the item on their web site. Once you get to the adapter, it says it works for a CTK-531. I would imagine most any 9V adapter that can product 800 milliamps would be fine.
