Connecting the DGX630 to an amplifier, stereo system, mixer, tape recorder or other line-level audio device I need an output jack (that's what is stated in the manual).

The dealer in the shop asked me whether this DGX630 had stereo output or not because that might influence the choice of a cable. He told me most clients bought mono (jack)cables.

What should I do : stick to mono or buy stereo ?
I thought DGX630 had some stereo effects, so a stereo cable would be the proper choice.

Any advice ?

Stereo will give you a superior sound. Both the sampling of the main grand piano and the effects are in stereo.
