Anyone familiar with Gebr Perzina?

After years of being without a piano and approx. 3 years of searching for a decent practice piano which sounded good, had nice action and was affordable, I went out on a limb. I bought a new Gebr Perzina upright piano. (It's a console, but actually close to a studio in size.) I really like the sound, but am a little nervous because I ended up purchasing a piano I know little about and which seems to have little info on the internet.
Did I buy a peach or a lemon?
Can anyone fill me in with more details on my mystery piano????
Thanks!!!

Just curious, where did you buy this piano? I can only find a little information on the company, and almost all of it is in German. The Perzina Brothers (Gebrüder abbreviated as Gebr.) factory is in Lenzen, Germany and opened in Scwerin in 1871.

I got the piano from a place called Keyboard Outlet in Dallas. They had a few of these pianos which they were selling for a bank (who had financed a failed piano showroom). The type of business that I bought it from doesn't help make me any more comfortable with my mystery purchase! To be honest, I bought it #1 for the sound and #2 because I got it for $3K, which included delivery and tuning! It was by far the best combo of sound & price I've found in 3 years of searching.
The piano looks nice, sounds great and got great reviews from the piano tuner (who, of course, gets a fair amount of business from Keyboard Outlet). I'm hoping that I just got a solid piano from a small manufacturer who doesn't do much exporting...
Thanks for your info!

How has the Perzina worked out? Are you still pleased with its sound and action? Has it needed service?

Del Fandrich wrote a NAMM 2004 review that touched on the Perzina upright. You can read it on Piano World HERE -- CLICK HERE . Matt G, the new Perzinas are built in China.
