I am looking for information on my Lagonda piano. It is an upright player made in New Castle, IN in 1916 (I have original sale documentation to substantiate this), Cabinet Grand, purchased from French & Sons Piano Co. Cabinet is mahogany, in good condition but finish is crazed. Piano plays well, original ivory keys, player plays by pedal pump. I am looking for possible value since I'm thinking of refinishing cabinet myself or any other information available

The value in today's market is very little. Although your piano may have been beautifully built originally, uprights of that age normally need thousands in repair to function the way they were meant to and the repair easily exceeds the value when the work is complete.

Enjoy the performance that youhave and the cabinetry (which can be beautiful) but don't put lots of $$ into this piano unless you do it for the simple love of it.
