BRAHMS 51 EXERCISES WITH FULL SCORE

Hi everyone,
I wonder if anyone knows an edition of the 51 Brahms exercises with the full score written, I mean a full and complete score without the signs indicating that the exercise is similar in another key or the progression continues.
It would be very helpfull for me, since I'm not very good at figuring out what should be played (unless I see the notes written) as I left music school a long time ago.
I would really appreciate any help on this.
Thanks very much (If you don't understand or if it's not clear what I'm writing, please ask, English is not my mother tongue)

I've never seen one, and I doubt anyone has created such a thing.

If you have time and motivation to do so, you could do it yourself with a music notation program. MuseScore is free, powerful, user-friendly and available in many languages. (From the dropdown menu on the lower right of the home page, you can change the language to español, català or galego.)

I thought this should be relatively easy to do in Finale. And, basically, it was. But as seems to be the norm with Finale, I got totally distracted several times by side issues (like - why can't I get the VST player to work ). Anyway, here's a link to Exercise 1d fully written out. I'll try to get to the rest soon.

Okay, so it isn't so soon; sorry. Here's the link to Exercise 1e fully written out. BTW, I am not a great proofreader of my own stuff, so if anyone uses this and spots any errors, please let me know.

And here is Exercise 1f. And there's an added bonus - a recording of it resides in Members Recording. I originally just wanted to hear an accurate rendition of the cross-rhythms, but ended up having too much fun...

i always thought development of transposition skills was one of the main points of these exercises, especially since Brahms was so good at transposing himself.

i always thought development of transposition skills was one of the main points of these exercises, especially since Brahms was so good at transposing himself. They can be used that way, I guess, although I'd hesitate to say it was a "main point". For working on transposition skills, I think it's probably better to transpose real music, rather than rote exercises. At any rate, if somebody is not into doing transposition or extrapolations, and simply won't do the exercises otherwise, it's nice to have the stuff written out. One reason I'm doing these is to get more comfortable with using Finale, BTW - I need the practice.

wow .. that looks like a lot of fun.. I'd try it now, but everyone is still asleep. lordy knows i need help with transpositional skills. i do see that in the right hand, in the 3rd sextuplet (?) group of each measure there are 3 rather than 2 lines holding the group together. (notation is not my mother tongue)... i guess it is supposed to be that way tho. i really enjoyed your recording wr of exercise 1 F..
