I've had my Casio for just over 2 weeks now, and it's been great.

But today I noticed that one of the keys (one octave down from middle C, the B below that) is making a clicking sound at the bottom of the keystroke.

It's especially noticeable when playing quiet pieces with repeating chords like Op. 28 No. 4 by Chopin.

This is pretty disappointing. All the other keys are fine. Has anyone else experienced this, and should I be contacting Casio support?

I made a short video with my iPhone to show the issue:

My PX150 key clicking sound

The noise seems similar to another YouTube video I found, this one with a PX135:

Contact Casio service or your dealer. It is likely that a simple piece of felt is slightly out of place.

Interesting. I have noticed some noise on my PX-850 when the key is "released" quickly. Only on certain keys, not all of them.

The behaviour should be consistent throughout the keyboard.

E.g. releasing a 'C' key quickly will have the same decay characteristics as releasing a 'D' key quickly. Likewise for releasing the key slowly.

It's a relatively subtle change, but all of these little details help. wink
