P.S. now the piece I was working on needs to be surgically dissected and re-practiced before it's playable again. Good grief!

It is funny, but not at all at the same time. You are here now though. Good job.

I had a recording last night I was OK with. So very relaxed when playing today. No pressure. The recording equipment was all ready anyway so figured I may as well turn it on. Sure enough, a better recording.

I realize others may not notice much, but I do. Since I am near the bottom of the heap anyway, I figured ... I'll take the better one smile .

Yay! I'm so glad you are going to have a go. If it's any consolation mine sound quality is terrible too, it sounds really really tinny. I can't wait to start listening to everyone's recitals, this has been such a fun learning experience. Thanks so much to all the people who have volunteered their time to organize this.

I got in with 21 minutes to spare! yippie At least I didn't set the bar to high for myself for the next recital. ha

Oh, and for the noises that got caught in some of my recordings: A train, a helicopter, the splash sound when new email drops in, and (maybe) an indelicate word or two.

It was starting to feel a lot like every April when I file my income taxes at the last possible moment. I shall try to do better next recital. Course, I say that every April, too. grin

Okay y'all... the 9:00 pm bell has rung. Off I scamper to the nearest telephone booth to change into my alter ego...
