Hi, my daughter is about to be a theory/comp major in college. She wants to find a few spirals, notebooks, or loose-leaf that are staff paper on one side and regular lined paper on the other. Has anyone seen that, what brand? She's facebooked her comp friends, bit so far no luck.

I've never seen anything like that, but you could make your own. You can find staff paper files online that you can print out. Then you could get regular lines 3 hole punched paper, punch the printed out staff paper and put it alternating in a three ring binder.

darb, I'm not sure what size you're looking for, but here's a Music Journal with staff lines on one side and regular lines on the other.

I used Bel May Publications staff paper when I was a kid. I don't think the company is around anymore.

Nowadays I just print out staff paper.

As the volume of paper involved increases it is much easier to sort and file loose sheets printed on only one side vs. flipping back and forth through reams of bound volumes.

Nonetheless, for schoolwork and academic work maybe bound paper is most practical.
