Tangent alert;
Supposedly golfers (at some HIGH level of expertise) buy putters frequently, not for NEED but for showing up their "acquired habits" that they want to shed.
Don't remember where I read or heard this, but supposedly a hundred putters is not uncommon in the higher echelons.

NOT PRACTICAL to buy a hundred pianos ?
Yeah, me too.
So maybe the takeaway is that practice on DIFFERENT pianos will also help to diagnose some of those habits/flaws ?

Congratulations Heather with your new stubborn buddy smile

I'm sure you two will get a long in a couple of weeks. Listen to it, play it and love it!
