With Christmas starting to appear on the horizon, I'd like to be able to play some Christmas music in a jazzy style. ... and it will take quite a bit of practice for me to play them at an acceptable level. blush So, I'd like to get an early start.

Can anyone recommend a good book of easy-ish jazz arrangements of Christmas music?

Thanks!

Vince Guaraldi - A Charlie Brown Christmas Beginning Piano Solos

Some of this are a bit too simple and not very faithful to the recordings, but still a worthwhile collection in the easy-to-play genre.

Thanks for the link. However, these appear to be too easy. I really don't know where to classify myself at this point. Perhaps something in the low-intermediate to intermediate range would be more appropriate for me. Something that would require some practice to get a hold of and would sound more accomplished.

Thanks again.

Martha mier has a book line called Christmas jazz rags and blues with books from beginner to advanced students. I haven't used then but it might be up your alley.

One of our local forum heroes, Ben Crosland wrote and gave some away a while ago. Maybe he has published them by now.
