I'm not sure if this is okay to post here. If not, mods, please delete it.

Our small, local Steinway/Yamaha dealer is going out of business and this is the last week of the sale. They have what seems like a great deal on a Yamaha C7 and some other pianos.

I AM IN NO WAY AFFILIATED WITH THIS STORE, nor did I purchase my piano from them. But they have been in business for decades and are very well-respected. Our small town is sad to see them go, so I thought I'd share with the group if anyone is looking for a deal in the next week or so. I believe the Yamaha C7 was in residence at the Metropolitan Opera in NYC before being sent here.

I won't post a link, but anyone with Google can find the Steinway dealer in Pensacola, FL and find the list of pianos they are trying hard to sell. I wish I had the money for that C7. My training is in Opera Performance and much of my playing is accompanying myself and others in opera/art song, so I just imagine all the world-class voices its accompanied in rehearsals! :-D

Perhaps that C7 is the piano that Bach48 is looking for...

Ret, that is PRECISELY why I took the gumption to post!

If he buys it, I'll need to visit just so he can accompany me on Nessun Dorma, and my life will be complete. ;-)

Bach48 is a she and she is from the California area, I believe. Of course, she still may be interested in the C7; what's 3000 miles when it comes to a nice piano. They are fabulous instruments! smile
