Lovely playing. I enjoyed it even though the piano is out of tune. (I realize that you can't tune it until it is acclimated to its new home.) I'm envious of anyone who acquires a Bechstein. A good pianist like you deserves a good piano.

I just passed the 2-year anniversary of acquiring my Bechstein, and I completely concur! The way my tech has worked the Renner action has all but ruined other pianos for me (well, not completely - a Fazioli 228 I played recently had an amazing feel).

Congrats on your piano - it sounds like a real gem.

Thank you very much!! :))

Thank you! :)) Yes i am waiting a bit before tuning for the piano to settle in the home smile i am also replacing some base strings (they had some additional noise and my tuner couldn`t fix them) And after all that it will get proper tuning and everything else it deserves :))

Man, how did I miss this post earlier? It's even an upright and grand combination, just like Lafi!

Is the Challen logo big enough? wink

Thanks for sharing. thumb

Nice men! What kind of bench is that? Is it real leather? I'm also searching for a bench.

There is a thread running somewhere on the subject of those logos. They certainly are bold.
