I saw a post in the Pianoteq forums aking if there was a way to access Pianoteq using an app. I have a program called Astropad that allows me to access my Photoshop program using my iPad. I have an iPad Pro with the Apple Pencil. It is a great setup for drawing and it works even better with an app called Procreate.

I'm getting off topic here so back to Astropad. You install on the iPad and your Mac computer, start the program, start Pianoteq and your Mac screen appears on your iPad. Using your finger (no need for the Apple Pencil) you can fully control Pianoteq while sitting at your digital piano. With Roland and Bluetooth it might be able to be done wirelessly.

Nice tip!

How does the iPad communicate with your Mac? Via a wired connection or wirelessly (WiFi, Bluetooth?). Do you feel any response/screen update lag compared to using the Mac directly?

Cheers,
James

IPad to iMac is Wireless. Very little lag.
