Is this the world's most expensive piano?
This Alma-Tadema Steinway sold at auction in 1998 for $1.2 Million!
It was sold to the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute in Williamstown, Massachusetts. The auction took place at Christie's in London.
The auction house said it was the highest price ever paid for a piano.
The piano orinally sold for $1,200 in the 1880s (talk about markup!).
