I am a a private piano teacher, having taught in New York studios and private homes, and more recently, here in Arizona, my new home, for over 25 years. I welcome students of all ages and levels. Each student is given a very personalized learning plan, depending on whether beginner or intermediate or advanced. No important fundamentals are sacrificed. Yet adults who want to return to the piano and perhaps play some cocktail style jazz, absolute beginners, teenagers needing some new influence in their lessons, children having their first lessons, those in need of coaching on classical pieces; all these will see early results with my hands-on methods. Reading, improvisation, theory. Blues, pop, boogie, etc. all are available. Lessons are held either in my studio in Scottsdale or in your home (there is a surcharge for lesssons in your home for travel time and gas-a sign of the times.)
My fee is $60 per hour, $45 for 45 minutes, and $30 for one-half hour. The initial lesson includes a very thorough evaluation and demonstration to determine if you and I are right for each other. Let's Make Music!! Please see my website at www.georgeherzog.com.
