As a performing and teaching pianist for over 20 years, I am aware of the importance of sharing the knowledge I have gained.
Learning to play jazz piano can really be fun. Ear training is the key. My teaching approach emphasizes skills such as learning to hear and analyze intervals, melodies and chords. I work with each student at their own pace, according to their own abilities, work load and circumstances.
It doesn't matter how fast you progress, only that you do progress. My students and I both have a great time together exploring the many facets of jazz piano.
